Celebration #2: ”A Welcomed Break”

This second painting in the annual series, entitled “A Welcomed Break”, follows our young farming family in the late 1950’s or early 1960’s era. The six-year-old twin children accompany their mother to the field with refreshments, where their welcoming father and hired help have been working hard to “bring in the hay”. This “Welcomed Break” scene occurs around the Labor Day time of year. |
